Andy and I went up to New York for a few days, and it was AMAZING! here are a few pics to get you through the day...Sorry that i have, quite unfortunatly, no time right now. i'm sitting at a cafe because of the lack of internet at my house

WHEW! ich habe keine Zeit, manchmal...Naja, ok so diese Monat hat sehr viel Spass gemacht, ich konnte NIEMALS erklaeren. Naturlich wurde alle besser mit meine Deutsche Freunde, aber naja, was kann man ja tun? IHR KOMMT MICH BESUCHEN! haha yay!

So it's been fun randomly painting in the room for the last few days, and this is for Phoebe------
Here are the paintings Josh made...Here's my room mate's abstract self portrait...and here are the ones that i made! so now the room is beautifully decorated with random people's art. i kinda REALLY like it and want more people to come into my room and randomly paint something! YAH! haha but we'll see how it goes..So these pictures are from the adventure meera, derek, and i went on to get some shot glasses for becca's 21st birthday present. derek was creepily creeping around the shelves with this mask over his face...er ist ja ein bisschen dumm, weisstda ;)Dann bin ich zur Hockey mit derek gegangen. He's a ref, and i really like watching hockey, so it was a lot of fun. the weather was awesome too, so that probably made it about 800000 times better. as much as i did enjoy it, however, i don't think i'll be watching it for four hours straight EVER again...ok i thought this was awesome, because this is a U 17 team, and this random chick was playing with them. she DID play, and she kicked some butt, too. impressive.Then on Saturday Night was our AGD Formal. Wir haben ganz viele getanzt und SO VIEL SPASS gemacht. ihr seid doch alle neidisch ;). but it was a lot of fun- i went with josh, which i'm sure made it about 30 times more fun.pretty center pieces that were very quicky ruined by magic tricks... All the beautiful ladies of alpha gamMe and my lovely sis momhaha YAY dancing! wir haben so schoen getanztall the soccer guys. aw niedlisch-they're SO freaking european in this pictureand then later in the room. haha josh looks like such a goob. so does maria. so do i. oh wellso thanksgiving break. yay. less than a month until i'm in NEW FREAKING YORK!! yay!

ok It's homecoming week here at lambuth, so it's been a lot of fun! i've been participating in homcoming activities for two separate organizations, which has been utterly crazy- International Student Association (ISA) and Alpha Gamma Delta (AGD) but it was all totally worth while! The theme of homecoming was "connect with the past, look to the future" so everything had to do with it...

Everyone has to do these "screens," and they are just big frames of chicken wire that you have to stuff with or cover with tissue paper. it's actually quite rediculous but totally awesome. and somewhat old school. all the greek organizations and ISA did one...

Alpha Gamm...and ISAISA screen didn't place, and Alpha Gamm's got third to Phi Mu and Sig Ep. and here's the one that won first place, phi mu...Here's me making a poster at 4 oclock in the morning on the patio for the actual homecoming game haha friday night was CRAZY because everyone was trying to finish their screens and prepare for homecoming. we were all running off of pure adriennelane, i swear...Then there's another competition, the "sidewalk chalk" but because it was raining, we all got to do it on actual blackboards...
and the finished products...AGDand ISAHere's the first place one-Kappa Alpha, it was very good, and the guy who drew it is in international club, too. hah oh the joy. but for this competition, KA got first, ISA GOT SECOND!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOOO!!! and alpha gam didn't place (sad.)at the beginning of the week, there's this big fest like competition thing in which all the sororities compete called Paloosa. i have the video and will try to post it some time soon! GO AGD!

Melissa and Becca(my sis mom!) melissa wrote the whole dance thingFinally the actual homecoming game, we lost by a lot. ha poor guys. but here's me and arby, and he's going back to sweden next week and IM SO SAD! because he got injured playing soccer, but he's such an amazingly c0ol guy, i'm really going to be sad when he's gone! but he misses home a lot, so he's pumped...

oh and alpha gam got a yard of the month thing for the lambuth area neighborhood association! YAY!

school= school= NO TIME! ah! but still, it's a lot of fun, even though there's like nothing to do in jackson. we find ourselves traveling to memphis for enternatinment anyway. for instance the ingram hill concert! YAY! it was sooo BAMF! here's meera with Franzi

and derek smoking his cigar AT the concert. that's a little bit too derek-like for me ;)so anyway, the other day i gelled joshs hair back b/c it makes him look like he's about 30 and we all thought it was funny, then he insisted that i just sit and rub his hair. um, ew anyone? haha but it was a nice little bit of entertainment!
