So, needless to say, midyear was awesome and everything in Minden is pretty much EXACTLY how it was before, but you know what, i'm totally ok with that. I'm having fun, and it didn't bring me down. Justus is dancing right now in my room, so that's a little distracting. Josephina and i just made some nice crafts and such, and im trying to think of something to do with my old jeans. any ideas?

So i had quite the extravagant weekend! it started off on Friday at jazzklub, where we go, of course, every third friday. it was good this time, and i brought my camera to kind of give you guys a sneak peak of the crazy jazzy awesomeness. The guys playing right now are the ones that always start off the night, so anytime you go on jam session, you'll see em...
Mona and Katha...
Tane, Gina, and Lena....
Tana and me...On saturday i went to my choir leader's 40th birthday party to help out. It was so incredibly AWESOME! too bad i don't have any pictures, but you can just take my word for it! so i helped out and helped helma wash all the ZILLIONS of dishes and stuff, then at about 11 i went to the disko, then came back at 2 and the party was STILL jammin, so we danced and had a blast until like 4 in the morning, and i rode home w/a neighbor b/c peter and petra left at about 2 45. WHEW they like to parrrrtay! i love dancing to crazy german music!
we didn't have school on monday, but i took a picture today of the school lobby during our first big break. wowww...
Then we had 6th period free (which i always have free on tuesdays, but today katha, mona, lara, and sasqua had it free too) so we walked through the wilderness of our school property to get to the Stadt, and of course had to take random pictures.
Sasqua...and here's Mona and Katha with a tree that fell down during the storm...
(or did they KICK it down? i guess we'll never know...)Of course a little bit of shopping, too! Laura and Sasqua found some utterly....russian? hats!
And i'm off tomorrow to Cologne! HOORAH! ill be sure to take a ZILLION pictures, too! love!

Wow! This week has been quite pointless, school-wise. (well, even more pointless than usual...) I didn't do anything on Wednesday because Herr Heinze was sick, and one of the other teachers came about 30 minutes late to the class, so we had that period free AND sixth period free. WOW. then today, i got to school in time for English (which is pretty much always pointless, even 12th grade english, which was today- but we're starting a new topic "The American Dream" next week. haaaa!) anyway, and then i find out that we weren't going to have 5 or 6th period because there was supposed to be this HUGE storm! YAY! NO SPORT! i hate sport, even though we're playing badmitton and i think of Emily b/c she loves it, but most of the time Sport is just lame, like dancing about and throwing ribbons and such. So it didn't really storm terribly right after school, and it just picked up now, at about 5. So i took a picture of the day that i got out of school early for a storm that was supposed to come but didnt until we'd already have been home from school ANYWAY! haa hoorah! sorry it's a bad picture, but i didn't want to open the window and risk my camera being struck by lightning or something. but you get the gist...it's worsening now.And i haven't done anything today except "quatsch" around, because i can't go anywhere on my bike and no one wants to leave the house b/c the weather is so bad, so i decided to show you pictures of the dissaray of my room instead.
Clutter has collected on my desk and there are jackets on my stuhl, but you know what, that's ok, because the messiness is nice and homely and i like it. I could have, however, spent all my extra time today cleaning, but i didn't. i read through my magazines and updated my blog and researched some stuff on the internet and attempted to start on my collage for the halbjahr meeting, but i honestly feel not at all inspirated and have no CLUE what to do for it because its pretty much just lame anyway.
and i eat spoon fulls of peanut butter sometimes, because i think i've had a lack of it in the last 5 months, so here's a picture of my favorite past time of the last week or so! hoorah for PB! i have yet to eat it on bread, yet, though, sadly. only alone and with a spoon. and once on oreos. and once on a banana, but the whole family thought i was CRAZY and got really grossed out, and i was like WHAT?!!!! but yes, there's that!
the lesson: do not take things like peanut butter for granted, those of you who are still living in the US and complaining about those PB sandwiches you have to eat in your lunch every day! you should feel oh so lucky! i know, im in such a phylosophical mood- man, i should make that a career. haaa
Love Love Love to you all!

Have you ever been to a German tupperware party?! haaa i went to one last night, and it was awesome! well, awesome for what a tupperware party could be. it was just random and something cool to do on a Monday night. plus i got a free tupperware! YAY A SOUVENIER FROM GERMANY! haaa but yah, It was at Helma's house, (my neighbor) and she took a picture of me, but i don't know where it is.

but look what i made!i gave into the peer pressure of german society, as well...haaa but in a totally awesome way! I do, however, sadly have a pair of scissors in mine, but i think the coolness factor simply makes up for it.
Ok, so Justus and i were playing with playdough, and then it of course had to be put back up. So we put it all up and Justus runs away and gets a vacuum...AND STARTS VACUUMING JOSEPHINES DESK!! haaa it was the cutest thing i've ever seen! so i had to take a picture
oh, and i went to WEZ the other day,and i saw this! it just kind of amused me
looove!
its going to be a good weekend, i can already tell!
