Hallo all! So i just got back from Lobau/Dresden/Bautzen spending a good 5 days or so with the best girl in the world! hoorah! it was awesome seeing another person's host family, home, and how their daily life seemed to work (haa or what i could get out of it ;) we did the whole awesome chill thing, always having something randomly interesting to do. we enjoyed some extra lecker pizza on friday night, then went out for a few drinks. we were both pretty pooped, so we opted to go home afterward. then on Saturday we took a trip to Bautzen and ate some random chinese food and i bought my host dad some mustard. Then sunday, MY FAV DAY HAA! we got up at like 10 and ventured into the kitchen to make a really random cake that we ended up eating on HUNDRED YEAR OLD PLATES at sir walter's house! it was amazing! you can walk around this guy's house, touch artifacts, and see WOW once in a life time stuff. it's utterly amazing, and i really enjoyed it. It's like a museum, except really messy and you can touch whatever's in there...

So after some sketching (haaa....)and book translating (not me...a random woman..) cake eating, sir walter himself came in and started telling us a lot of history and stories and such..here's "Der Kunstler," a friend of "Der Kunstler" and sir walter himselfthen monday we spent the night in a crazy hostel in dresden, which i would totally recomend b/c it's in an awesome spot and the rooms our crazy! our's was jack and the beanstalk, and the room next to us randomly had a CAR in it! wwooooowww!more dresden.then after a couple hours of "sleep" in the hostel, we ventured into the stadt to be street mimes! ahhhh! something i've wanted to do my whole life! WOW! it was SO much fun, and suprisingly we DID indeed end up getting a few bucks, and we were in too many pictures to count! wow, what a nice profession!!! we're still in our coats here, but im wearing all white w/a black face and gloves, and phoeb's wearing all black with a white face and gloves. crruuuunnk!then after of course washing all that HORRIBLE make up off...haaa...we went shopping a bit and walked around, finding interesting things, like this crunk record store!and after a long night of seeing movies, playing cards in a tea house with random people, and sitting in a nice comfy little bar, we went back to the hostel and made noodles which neither of us ended up eating. i secretly think we were both a weeee bit tired....Then the last day, of course had to come and we ate at "hot soup" which i think we really liked...

Then after a lovely 5 hour train ride, peter made a random special dessert and was very proud of it, and it tasted good, so i figure i will include it toothen today i found out about my car and got really sad and went running but then afterward i was still so sad, so i started baking. and i never stopped. i baked and baked and baked and baked. if anyone wants a cupcake, just let me know ;)

but yay- holger stopped by, he's on ferien but he didnt eat a cupcake

oh well

there were two girls in school today from Sutton, England, so i talked with them for a while. so that's interesting.
